The Maud's temperature records for the mid-Arctic are still being used today in the scientific literature.

Just learned of Maud this am as I was cruising around Wikipedia my grandparents came to the U. S. about 10 yes prior to Amundsons trip in Maud. Love to go to Asker and see her. Now 75, but it’s NEVERtoo late !

This is remarkable and I look forward to visiting Bygdøy to see this Maud added to the suite of Arctic vessels. Brilliant technical feat but feeling wistful that it leaves Canada's high Arctic home.

Having walked on the deck of Maud many many years ago, that is the part of the deck was still above water, I am amazed at how large the Maud is.

Godspeed with everything you are doing and my most fervent wishes for a successful lift of Maud from the water, the freeze drying process, and her safe transport home. You are preserving heritage, and you are also making history yourselves!

Thanks for the update. Wish you all the best for this summer's challenges. Eventually returning via the North East Passage would be brilliant! Except for Russian bureaucracy, it is probably much less risky than the North Atlantic.
